Delia comes in the shop and asks Melinda if she can take Ned’s place in the shop so that he can study and Melinda says she is fine with that, if Delia is. When Delia asks what she should do, Medlinda tells her to lock up so that they can go shopping. They go to this quaint little antique shop that is going out of business and find these beautiful wooden chinese ornaments. When Melinda looks at them, they glow red with energy, so she buys them and puts them in the back of the shop. A short time later she hears thumping in the back and sends Delia out on a frivolous errand, so she can investigate. She sees a ghost in the back trying to destroy her ornaments and breaking a lot of merchandise in the process. Melinda gets upset and yells at him, even though its as if he can’t hear her, and the ghost disappears. Later, she takes the ornaments home and when she touches one, it transports her to a porch where a man and woman is fighting, and said that she felt immense anger. The ghost shows up in her house to try once again to destroy the ornaments, so Melinda burns them, but they reappear in her kitchen. The next morning She goes to see Professor Payne to ask him questions about them and he tells her that they are considered Aports, a spirits way of communicating. He asks if she has one, and if she does to bring it in, but Melinda denies she does. Melinda goes back to the shop to ask the owner where she got the ornaments and the Liz, the owner, says she can’t remember. Melinda asks her if they just appeared and tells Liz they reappeared in her kitchen. Liz confides she thought she was going crazy, and then sees another ornament, and gives it to Melinda. In her car, Melinda touches the ornament and it transports her to a field where a beautiful house constructs around her. When the vision is over she goes back to Delia and asks for help finding the house. Delia gives Melinda her real estate account number and Melinda is able to find the house. When she drives there, she finds the ghost’s body, and a woman rocking in a chair, as if in a coma. She calls the emts and her husband, and later she finds out the man, Dennis, died of some type of poisoning. Melinda goes to the hospital to talk to Christine, which is the lady she found rocking, and finds out that she is autistic. She also finds out that Dennis was autistic and he and Christine was a couple. The doctor sees Christine with an ornament and Melinda claims it. When she touches it she sees Christine coming home and opening the windows, only to find Dennis’ body. Then the vision rewinds and shows Dennis baking and the pilot going out, so he died of Carbon Monoxide poisoning, and the only reason Christine lived was because she had opened all the windows. Later Melinda takes the ornaments to Professor Payne where he does tests on them, and asks Melinda about how her friend got teleported, then he realizes that Melinda was referring to herself and asks her to hold the bunny ornament which had the higher energy reading. From this ornament, Melinda sees a vision of a woman giving her daughter to a doctor at some facility. Melinda decides to take the ornaments to Christine and on the way runs into Delia, who confesses she is tired of selling real estate and Mel offers her a job in the shop, Delia agrees to think about it and Melinda goes to see Christine. When given the ornaments, Christine identifies them Bunny, butterfly, tree, cake. She tells Melinda that Bunny used to wear a butterfly necklace and took her to school, and that they had cake and sat under a trees. Melinda asks who bunny is and Christine says mommy. Then she flips the ornaments over and they make a picture puzzle of Liz. Melinda takes them to Liz and asks about Christine. Liz tells her the doctors blamed Christines’s autism on her, saying she was a bad mother and that they wouldn’t let her see Christine when she was little. She says she visited Christine once at her house but she and Dennis had gotten in a fight, so she never went back. Melinda takes her to see Christine, but Liz gets frustrated when Christine doesn’t respond at first. Dennis asks Melinda to tell Liz that love is patient and she does, so Liz rejoins Christine and they bond over a puzzle. Dennis still doesn’t cross over so Melinda asks him what else he needs and he tells her he wants to know what love feels like , and she says what you did, bringing Christine and her mom together, that’s love, so he crosses over.
Coming: A ghost in the wrong grave asks Melinda for help, but she doesn’t want to help him because he abandoned his wife and child.
